Just a quick update on progress. The site work is still underway with a million small, unglamorous but important details being worked on. Important because we don’t want three inches of beer slopping through the building – it would be such a waste, and probably would cause hot salty tears to be shed. Our cooler is in place, offices largely completed, and the brewery floor to be finished this weekend. Work is continuing on the taproom space, and the patio will be ready to go on opening day. We do have a date in mind, more details of which will come in a future post.
Offsite, we’re working away on our opening beers – the current plan is to open with an initial three distinct beers, with others rolling out over the fall. One of the initial beers will be Luther’s Folly, which has already debuted, and we’re quite excited about the other two. To begin, supply will be by keg through some local bars, growler stations, and of course our taproom.
