It’s been a busy week here at the little brown 1970s strip mall. Three brews into the tanks – two of which are new. And another new one into kegs for the taproom.
Firstly, lets address the large elephant in the room – the sign. Technically that’s a large elephant outside the room but we’re all friends here so let’s not argue. Yesterday the fine folks at Speedpro Signs installed a new one over the door. Appropriately, or at least we think so, it says Stone Angel Brewing Co., and not Vodka Rocks. Even better it’s bold and bright and can be seen from across the carpark. Apologies to those who couldn’t find us last weekend.
We’re adding a third beer to the taproom lineup today – Oktober Blond – cool, crisp, and easy drinking. Coming down the pipeline for the taproom are: Luther’s Folly, our new IPA, and Samhain which is our Hallowe’en beer. So we’re hoping to have six or seven beers on tap in a few short weeks.
Currently planning a better food offering to our customers although after a short week of openings, it seems that the Tehran Cafe next door (really next door, 10 feet between doorways), is proving a big hit with people! We possibly should just knock a doorway through.
We’re open our regular taproom hours this weekend. So drop by and say hi.
