Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhaoibh!

Is that even English? Of course not, it’s the day before St. Patrick’s Day! A day to celebrate the emotional richness that the Irish bring to our humdrum existence, to marvel at their wit and wisdom, their widespread knowledge, how they saved Western civilisation, or just their sheer loveliness. But hey we may be slightly biased and prone to exaggeration – just like the Irish infact. Afterall this is the nation that sent us Irish Paul, and invented the bagpipes and gave them to the Scots as some sort of cruel joke.

Music from 2pm with the excellent traditional music of the Flatland Ceili Band. Followed by some Irish dancers, more music at 4pm, followed by more Irish dancers, followed by more music at 5.30 with a pipe and drum interlude, more dancing, and then the irrepressible Killick to close out the night. It’s going to be fun, trust us, would we lie to you?

And we also have some tasty grub for you to chow down on while drinking pints of Mountjoy X and Red Setter.
