It’s here, the day for your silly green t-shirt with a slogan that would get you in trouble with the political correctness police if it were about any other nation. Wear it with pride.
We open at Noon! Not our usual 2pm Sunday!
Last orders are 11pm, again not our usual Sunday!
Tehran Cafe is open from 1pm, again not their usual Sunday!
And in theory you can use the patio!
And bring a tin for the bin!
Brennan’s Barn, our Irish Pale Ale is back! So if Foynes, our Irish Coffee Stout! And we have a one-off, yes this is a real one-off. Green Beer! There we said it, we made a green beer with Devil May Care. It’s best described as an American Pale Ale, if a Pale can be green. And its vegetarian, lots and lots of spinach and wheatgrass!
We have a full afternoon of music and dance; a bit of a quiet period so we can catch our breath, hug one another (Steve will be wandering the room offering free hugs), grab some supper before the evening entertainment.
From 2-5ish we will have Comhaltas Winnipeg’s Flatland Ceili Band, the McConnell Dancers, and Enaid. There may be some audience participation required, so be warned. And lots of pints!
The early evening will have some bag-piping and hopefully lots of pints. We’re closing out the night with MacTague and MacAnallen who will play to close. They’re lively and will be a great end to the day! And lots of pints!
Its going to be a great day and if we have forgotten to do something, it will work out anyway!
