Thanks to everyone who has been coming by the taproom. It’s been fun meeting so many new people. Especially those who have insisted on vodka.
We are hoping to add two new beers and one old friend to the taproom menu for next weekend. Our Hallowe’en beer, for which we harmed NO pumpkins, Samhain, and our Kaiser Bill IPA. Samhain is best pronounced Sow-in, and is the traditional Irish forerunner to Hallowe’en. It is the Irish traditions of bonfires and baked goodies for Hallowe’en in a beer with a slight smoky flavour. Also making its debut at the taproom will be Luther’s Folly. This will put six beers on tap with a seventh on the way.
In request to various approaches, we are working on a space rental plan, with catering options for Christmas parties and the like. So stick with us.
Introducing a new approach to Friday lunches, we’re debuting Lunch Bag Fridays, bring your own lunch and treat yourself to a beer! A couple of the beers on tap right now are very lunch friendly – and shouldn’t screw your afternoon productivity up. Saying that, we do have wifi if you feel like embedding yourself for the afternoon with your laptop.
We’re closed Sunday and Monday this long weekend to spend more time in the futile and Sisyphean task of gathering leaves up in our yards. So if you need some growler fills to help you in a similar leaf gathering task or a random family gathering, stick it on your Saturday To-Do List.
Hours this weekend:
Friday: 12 Noon – 11.00pm
Saturday: 12 Noon – 11.00pm
Sunday: Closed!
So have a great and safe Thanksgiving weekend!
