What a week it has been. After a very enjoyable night at the Manitoba Brewers Association “Meet your local brewers 2.0” last Tuesday night, it was time to enter the main arena. It was our first time at the Flatlander’s Beer Festival – but a little confidence is a wonderful thing.
We had a great time, the craic, as they would say in Ireland, was mighty. It was steady busy all the time, and we learned a few things about putting together a stand that as rookies hadn’t crossed our minds. But it was all fun, and again a lot of positive feedback for what is our first beer. Really looking forward to next year and bringing more than one beer.
If you missed those events, Luther’s Folly is currently on tap at the Brazen Hall. Run, don’t walk!
The building is progressing rapidly, the concrete floor for the brewhouse is in, and cured. Epoxy is going down on it shortly. But next Monday and Tuesday are the big days, with the tanks and brewhouse arriving. That’s going to be a great day. Every week brings us closer.
