Construction update – “that looks like a brewery!”

After a delay with the floors which lost us some time, work is flying along on the site right now. The great “Berlinner Weiss Wall”, or the dividing wall between the production space and the taproom is largely in-place. Electrical and services for the brewery is well underway.

But the big development was the arrival of the brew-house and the tanks. They were moved into the building on Monday and Tuesday of this week. A team consisting of Winnipeg firm All Pro Mechanical and our brewery equipment supplier Specific Mechanical are currently hooking it together. It was very exciting to see it arrive, and rumour has it that it brought a tear to our resident Irish cynic’s eye.

Next week see the insertion of our beer cooler and continued work on cooling systems and electrical.

On a sadder note, but really it’s a good sign, Luther’s Folly has sold out of it’s limited run at Brazen Hall.
